Hi I’m Lorraine Hamilton. I’ve been a coach and coach trainer for many years, and I truly believe that coaching is magic.

After almost two decades in the industry I am still completely in love with the way that coaching empowers people to succeed in all aspects of their life.

Coaching is largely misunderstood today. Confused with sports coaching, there are many practitioners who use the term ‘coach’ but are performing the function of mentor (‘do what I did‘) or teacher (‘do I what I tell you’).

2. I don’t want to be a life coach, is this the right course for me?

Absolutely! This course has been specifically designed for experts, consultants and leaders to enhance their consulting and mentoring work. It has everything you need to be able to coach ethically and effectively without the time and financial investment required to become a professional coach. Our Certified Professional Coach program is the right program for those who wish to become Professional Life coaches.

3. Is this a recognised qualification?

Coach School is a recognised coach training provider and maintains the highest standards of ethics and training as laid out by the International Coach Federation so you can be assured that you are receiving world class training. You will receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the course which you can display proudly.

4. What is involved in successful completion?

Upon ‘successful completion’ of the course you will be issued with a Certificate of Completion. In order to complete the course, you must complete all coursework (in the online platform).

5. How much time do I need to put aside each week?

The course materials are specifically designed to be short and digestible with each video lesson being between 5 and 30 minutes long. I recommend allowing at least 90 minutes over the course of a week to dive in and learn for the first 6 weeks. Then it is all down to practice. The more you practice, the more you will get. If you can allow at least 6 hours a month, you will benefit.
